4.30 Curragh Custom Cut 1pt win @ 18/1 Bet365 This horse goes against plenty of the trends for this race but I am hoping of a big run from him. He comes here on the back of a recent spin on the all weather which should have put him spot on for this race. He is the top weight for this race by some distance as he is rated 8lbs clear of the next best so he does have plenty of weight to carry. He did however make giant strides last year improving from a mark of 68 all the way up to 106. I think racing started to take its tole on the horse towards the end of last season as his form tailed off a little but he should come here freshened up and ready for the new season. Ground poses no problems for him and he does have 2 excellent efforts at the track to his name. He won easily over 7f here back in July last year and followed that up with a good 4th in a listed race over 6f against some real sprint specialists. That effort came in October and off a mark of 104 so I don't think winning off this mark is beyond him. Ronan Whelan also takes off a handy 3lbs and he does have a good record on the horse, winning twice on him from 6 rides. He is drawn in 2 which is the biggest negative for tomorrow but I will take my chances that he can defy top weight and run a massive race.

Once rated 100 on the all-weather, is now rated 55, an incredible difference. Horse has been awful, but now has a nice mark to play with. 5 pound claimer on board aswell tomorrow. In such a race off such a mark, should be able to figure.
