Re: Bundesliga 2 > 28th Mar - 1st April Braunschweig – Dynamo Dresden Home news:

  • Kruppke key midf (long term)
  • Reichel key def
Away news:
  • Pote key att
  • Savic key def
  • Papadopoulos rotation midf (long term)

2nd Braunschweig hosts 16th Dynamo Dresden in what is expected to be a thrilling Thursday night encounter. On paper it looks like a more important match to the away side. Braunschweig finally got back to winning ways just before the break. They visited Bochum and got a tough-earned win. It was an overall mediocre match between these two sides as there wasn't much action. When everything pointed out to a dull 0-0 final result, Kumbela came out to be the hero 5 minutes from time. A perfect cross by Elabdellaoui and a nice finish by the prolific striker. It was a massive win for Braunschweig. It brought them closer to Hertha at the top and at the same time they kept the solid advantage over Kaiserslautern and Koln. This victory could mean their mini-crisis is over and this upcoming clash against Dresden could confirm that. Kruppke is still out and Reichel will be absent again here. Apart from that, about the same starting 11 should be expected, maybe only Boland in midfield for Korte. Dresden needed this international break quite a bit. They suffered two disappointing defeats in those last 2 rounds. They first lost a key relegation battle to Aue with 1-0 and then were defeated by Koln at home with 2-0. That match against Koln showed their flaws and why exactly they are sitting in the 16th position. Pacult's team was quite disorganized and Koln was the better team for most of the 90 minutes. Except for a decent finish of the 1st period, Dresden was mainly forced to defend as Koln created the play. It was inevitable that the guests will score sooner or later and they did just that in the last 20 minutes. Ujah scored both goals for a deserved Koln victory. The loss further endangers Dresden's status in this 2nd league. They are still in the playout spot but Sandhausen is also getting some results and threatening from the back. Very bad news for them as Pote will be out for the rest of the season. One can't overstate the importance of Pote for them.He is their go to guy upfront and pretty much every ball goes to him. It looks like Kitambala will be a lone striker but he is more suited as a supporting striker than a reference point. Another no bet here. About fair odds with Braunschweig the firm favorite. Dresden could be the more motivated side however and no outcome would come as a surprise. NO BET

Re: Bundesliga 2 > 28th Mar - 1st April Some interesting matches on the card today. Aue and Dresden are having some very important clashes in their relegation battle. Every point matters down there so they should be the most motivated sides. On the other side, teams like Cottbus and 1860 Munchen are still hopeful that they can compete for the 3rd position, even though Koln and Kaiserslautern look like the biggest contenders. Everything but a win would be a disappointment for them. Braunschweig could get back to the top with a win tonight and edge a step closer to a 1st league promotion.

Re: Bundesliga 2 > 28th Mar - 1st April TSV 1860 Munchen (2.35) to beat Erzgebirge Aue The hosts - Aue are traditionally one the best home 2.Bundesliga sides, so this is far from being a walkover for Munchen. However, they're still well involved in the promotion(actually, Play-Off) battle and due to this fact there's no doubt they'll go all out to win this one in order to maintain the pressure on third-placed Lautern. Munchen will be able to field a very good side that is well capable of performing and winning this one, so under these circumstances I find this offer more than acceptable.

Re: Bundesliga 2 > 28th Mar - 1st April Hertha – Bochum Home news: · Franz rotation def Away news: · Sinkiewicz key def Leaders Hertha BSC welcome 15th Bochum in a Saturday afternoon match at the Olympic stadium in Berlin. The hosts look to stay at the top while Bochum likes to get further away from the red zone. Not the best Hertha we've seen this season in Munich before the break. Quite a mediocre performance from their side in a 0-0 draw against 1860. We didn't see the usual number of chances that they create and had problems breaking a solid 1860 defense. In the back not bad as they didn't allow much but still more was expected overall. With Braunschweig winning in the last round and winning yesterday, Hertha now dropped to 2nd place. There is no big difference between 1st and 2nd at the end of the season, but it's still a goal for Luhukay's team. Currently there are no big roster problems for them, as only Franz is out. With their squad being one of the biggest in this 2nd league, many options for Coach Luhukay. Niemeyer and Kluge can play again together as holding midfielders and a fairly offensive line-up is expected with the likes of Allagui, Ronny and Ramos. A difficult part of the season for Bochum right now. They are not getting the desired results in 2013 and they'll have a tough ending of the season. They welcomed Braunschweig in the last round and suffered a heart-breaking 0-1 loss. It was heart-breaking because of the way it happened. Bochum was hardly outplayed in that one and played a decent match against the 2nd placed team in the standings. However, when everything pointed to a 0-0 draw, the guests got the lead with only 5 minutes left. There was not team for the hosts to respond and they were left empty-handed. This defeat continued their winless streak to 4 matches. Looking at the table, they are in a fairly difficult position as they are only 2 points above the bottom 3. Some good news for them yesterday as both Aue and Dynamo Dresden lost so there is somewhat less pressure in this one. They are rather healthy right now and similar like Hertha, don't have to deal with many absences. Sinkiewicz is the only notable absentee but he is out for the last 3 rounds so they are learning to play without him. Hertha should win this match. I think Bochum is better than their position suggests but I see Hertha getting back to the top after this clash. It should be a fine combo material.
