Washman
Thought I'd throw this in for interest - a good ten years ago there was a Sports paper that ran every Sunday, can't remember the name of it, but I always remember this golf bet they suggested. You pick 6 two balls (generally on 3rd or 4th days, but can be earlier in majors) and bet on ties, as follows: £1 on a tie in each (£6 total) £0.10 on fourfolds (£1.50 total) £0.10 on fivefolds (£0.60 total) £1 on accumulator Total stake is £9.10, so you only need 1 pair to tie to pretty much break even (£8.50 back with most bookies), and you can do much better, and add a bit of excitement to watching Sky coverage. I have very little golf knowledge, and would rather just pick last 6 pairings, and more if I want to have a couple of acca's. Today's results weren't bad, got 5 ties out of 12, and 4 were in one bet :D:

09 Mar 13 / 12:51 Fourfold(s) 1 2 3 4 5 6 Standard Standard Standard Standard Standard Standard John Senden v Peter Hanson – 3rd Round 2 Balls Dustin Johnson v John Huh – 3rd Round 2 Balls Charl Schwartzel v Keegan Bradley – 3rd Round 2 Balls Fredrik Jacobson v Bubba Watson – 3rd Round 2 Balls Steve Stricker v Phil Mickelson – 3rd Round 2 Balls Tiger Woods v Graeme McDowell – 3rd Round 2 Balls Draw @ 8.50 Draw @ 8.50 Draw @ 8.50 Draw @ 8.50 Draw @ 8.50 Draw @ 8.50 Won Lost Won Won Won Lost £1.50 £522.01
