[h=1]Warwick Farm Betting: Shoot Out gets a terrific chance to go back to back in the Chipping Norton Stakes[/h]

t522_8ba_Shoot-Out_13139_n(1).jpg WARWICK FARM BETTING: The Chipping Norton Stakes is a 1600m Group 1 race for 3 year olds and upwards where the 5.4 favourite with Betfair is SHOOT OUT. HOW THE RACE WILL BE RUN: The speed looks good without being a fast tempo. KING MUFHASA will come across from the wide barrier to lead. The Gai Waterhouse pair in GLENCADAM GOLD and LASER HAWK will no doubt be up there too as will TOUGHER THAN EVER and HAVANA REY. MONTON and SHOOT OUT from good gates won’t be too far away while the remainder of the field settle midfield or beyond in a race where all runners should get there chance barring bad luck and track bias. RACE ANALYSIS: Tricky race with many of these runners coming off the hard slog of the Apollo Stakes which was held in typically (of late) wet Sydney conditions. SHOOT OUT is the fresh horse on the scene in some ways, he bypassed that Apollo Stakes and instead will come into this race first up, a recipe that proved successful for Chris Waller during the spring when he won the George Main first up with the ex-Queenslander. He only had another 2 runs in the spring, a luckless run in the Epsom when in hindsight he was probably weighted out of the event and a very good Cox Plate run where if he had have jumped cleanly he probably goes close to running a place. Today he comes into this race with two solid trials under his belt and he looks set for the run of the race from barrier 3. http://www.betzone.com.au/warwick-farm-betting-shoot-out-gets-a-terrific-chance-to-go-back-to-back-in-the-chipping-norton-stakes
