[h=1]Flemington Betting: All Too Hard to make life extremely difficult for rivals in the Australia Guineas[/h] t506_e05_972901-all-too-hard-pierro.jpg FLEMINGTON RACE 7 @ 4:10pm AEDT: The Australian Guineas is a 1600m Group 1 event for 3 year olds where the 1.37 favourite with Betfair is ALL TOO HARD. HOW THE RACE WILL BE RUN: Big field but not a great deal of natural leaders. AJEEB with Glen Boss on board looks the likely leader with FORCE COMMAND probably coming across from a wide gate to settle handy. YOURE SO GOOD, GRAND EMPEROR, and HIGH ESTEEM settled not too far away. ALBRECHT from the good draw can be closer while the rest of the field settle midfield or beyond in a race where all runners should get their chance barring bad luck or track bias. RACE ANALYSIS: ALL TOO HARD looks the best of good things here. He has come back this preparation better than ever winning 2 from 2 against the older horses. The first of which was in the Group 1 ORR stakes when he settled back in the field off a hot tempo and was too powerful in the straight. It was a similar scenario in last week’s Futurity where after jumping better than anything, he eased back to just forward of midfield before putting the race to bed early in the straight with his devastating sprint to win by 3 lengths and stamp himself as the new Weight For Age superstar of the Australian turf. Today he steps up to 1600m and drops back to 3 year old level where he looks way too good on paper. He has drawn barrier 14 which is the only slight concern but even if he does have to sit 3 wide it’s hard to see him getting rolled. http://www.betzone.com.au/flemington-betting-all-too-hard-to-make-life-extremely-difficult-for-rivals-in-the-australia-guineas

Re: Flemington Betting 02/03/2013 [h=1]Flemington Betting: Shewan gets his chance to break a run of outs in the Jeune Handicap[/h] t507_93f_970409-shewan.jpg FLEMINGTON RACE 2 @ 12:50pm AEDT: The Jeune Handicap is a 2000m race for 3 year olds and upwards where the 3.3 favourite with Centrebet is KEEP COOL. HOW THE RACE WILL BE RUN: The speed looks ok here. ZLATAN will lead at a good pace as he did last start in winning. KEEP COOL and MIN RIVER will be up there keeping him honest with FLASHY FELLA, SHEWAN and ELUSIVE KING next in line. WHISPER DOWNS probably settles last from the outside barrier. All horses should get their chance in this barring bad luck or track bias. RACE ANALYSIS: SHEWAN is knocking on the door of a victory and I think today could be the day. After a string of races where he’s had horrible barrier draws, no luck or massive weights he looks better placed in this event after two terrific runs after a frustrating spring. He resumed a month ago over 1400m which was always going to be too short, he hit the line terrifically in that event. He was then 1400m up to 2000m and settled midfield with the top weight of 58.5kgs, the pace was strong set by KEEP COOL who kicked away in the straight and looked the winner before SHEWAN and the eventual winner Bells Of Troy sprinted after him to go passed with Bells Of Troy the narrowest of victors. SHEWAN gave 4.5kgs to both those horses and was only having his 2ndrun in 9 weeks while the other two were rock hard fit. Today SHEWAN will be fitter, gets 1kg off KEEP COOL and Glen Boss sticks with him. http://www.betzone.com.au/flemington-betting-shewan-gets-his-chance-to-break-a-run-of-outs-in-the-jeune-handicap
