[h=1]Flemington Betting: Decircles to break a run of outs and continue Danny O'Brien's hot run of form[/h] t496_e27_856981-danny-o-039-brien.jpg FLEMINGTON RACE 8 @ 5:10pm AEDT: The Lawn Handicap is a 1200m race for 3 year olds and upwards rated between 0-89 where the 3.4 favourite with Bet365 is DECIRCLES. HOW THE RACE WILL BE RUN: Doesn’t look huge speed on paper. LE BONSIR and CHELEMBRA look the sole on pacers in the race. INSTALLMENT and perhaps DECIRCLES can settle next in line from IT’S PRINCE. The rest of the field settle midfield and beyond in a race where the on-pacers look to be suited. RACE ANALYSIS: DECIRCLES run first up suggested he could be in for a good campaign. He resumed over 1000m in this class and found them a bit sharp in the early stages and got back to near last in the run. As they turned for the straight he was a mile off the eventual winner Rescue Mission but unleashed a massive finishing burst to just miss beating him on the line. Rescue Mission has since gone onto to run well at Group 3 level and Members Joy who ran 4th in the race has gone on to run a close up second in a 3 year olds fillies Group 3 race, so the form looks strong. Today 1200m down the Flemington straight suits ideally, he does boast a close up 2ndbehind First Command in the Listed Kensington Stakes last preparation which reads very well for this race. http://www.betzone.com.au/flemington-betting-decircles-to-break-a-run-of-outs-and-continue-danny-o-brien-s-hot-run-of-form

Re: Flemington Betting 16/02/2013 [h=1]Flemington Betting: Royal Haunt can lead all the way again in the CS Hayes[/h] t494_9a6_Royal_Haunt-1359783530_n.jpg FLEMINGTON RACE 6 @ 3:50pm AEDT: The CS Hayes Stakes is a 1400m Group 3 race for 3 year olds where the 2.5 favourite with Bet365 is ROYAL HAUNT. HOW THE RACE WILL BE RUN: Doesn’t appear to be much speed at all in this race. ROYAL HAUNT looks the sole leader and he might be able to dictate the race as he did last start. HOSTING might settle 2nd from HIGH ESTEEM, LUNAR RISE and FIERCE COMMAND but that is unclear. The rest of the field settle midfield or beyond in a race where the on-pacers look advantaged. RACE ANALYSIS: ROYAL HAUNT picks himself in this after a breath taking performance at Caulfield last start. Still in his first preparation, he did enough to win his maiden race before the blinkers were applied and he smashed a field at Sale, sitting on the pace before exploding away in the straight. He then stepped up to the Listed Manfred Stakes at Caulfield where he was well backed by punters and well rated in front by jockey Luke Nolen to came away a winner by over 4 lengths. Today he looks like getting gifted the lead and I don’t see the step up to 1400m as being an issue. There has been talk of him being sold to Hong Kong which means he will be scratched from the race but as I write this he is in the field and I think he’ll be winning. http://www.betzone.com.au/flemington-betting-royal-haunt-can-lead-all-the-way-again-in-the-cs-hayes-
