DeanK
[h=1]Moonee Valley Night Racing Betting: Champion jockey Glen Boss set to get his weekend off to a flier with Crystalised[/h] MOONEE VALLEY RACE 8 @ 10:15pm: The John Paraskevas Handicap is a 1600m race for Fillies and Mares rated between 0-72 where the 2.5 favourite with Centrebet is Thorn Star. HOW THE RACE WILL BE RUN: Not much speed at all in this. CRYSTALISED probably leads uncontested, next in line possibly CHIQUADA, TEMPER TANTRUM and perhaps race favourite THORN STAR who has drawn the inside. The rest of the field settles midfield and beyond in a race where the on-pacers look suited. RACE ANALYSIS: CRYSTALISED is having her 4th start this preparation, she drops back to 1600m 0-72 Fillies and Mares race after contesting a 2000m 0-89 F&M with due to the compressed weight scale and no claiming apprentice she carried the equal top weight. She went forward in this event and in a rare event Glen Boss misjudged the pace and they went out too hard. On cornering she looked to be traveling well but in the straight she felt the effects of the work she did early and the weight. The start prior was in the grade she meets tonight where she was a dominant winner over the 1600m. Coming through that race were Two Sugars who has won 2 races since, Queenera who won her next start and Princess Mossman who ran a nice 2nd up in grade last Friday night. She looks likely to get a softer run on pace tonight and it is encouraging that Glen Boss sticks with her. http://www.betzone.com.au/moonee-valley-night-racing-betting-champion-jockey-glen-boss-set-to-get-his-weekend-off-to-a-flier-with-crystalised
