*Bubbly Ballerina > Kempton 6:00 > WIN @ 5/1 VC BOG* Back down to it's last winning mark of 75 tomorrow, where it won a Class 4 at Lingfield four runs back. Tomorrow is a Class 5 contest, so is a bit weaker than that race, so has to have a chance, especially with the good 7 pound claimer, Robert Tart, taking 7 pounds off. It is still lightly raced at Kempton, only two runs, but was a close 2nd on it's first try here, so course should be no problem.

Re: Flat Racing > Wednesday 13th February Busy day tomorrow, fancy a few. Agree with Aidy on Bubbly Ballerina, managed to get 12/1 early doors with 365, not sure there's much value in the current price. Down in company and back down to a decent mark with a capable claimer on board. Drawn well in 2, and i hope Robert Tart gets him in a prominent position as im fearing he may get trapped behind on the rail. Also backed Light From Mars at 7/2 365 in the 7.00 at Kempton, only 4lb rise from his win lto where he's beaten a few decent looking types. Opposition in that race doesnt look anything special, had a smaller bet on Kakatosi as think the step up to 7f will suit and still looks well handicapped. The Lock Master looks a huge price at 11/2 PP in the 3.50 at Southwell, with the favourite looking massively under priced looking held off his current mark. The Lock Master loves it at Southwell and on that alone is almost worth a bet. Kept away from here for a while, running over further he looks as if he's been set up for a race of this nature. With Shirley Teasdale taking 5lbs off he's well handicapped and a likely strong pace will suit. Yard in great nick also. In the 4.20 managed to get on Caldercruix at 8/1 with 365, not sure there's value in the current price. Well handicapped though, and has a good record over 6f and here at Southwell. Class above most of these on his day. At the current prices though i prefer Masai Moon and i've backed him as well. Best form seems to be over 6f and he's been dropped back to this trip after being tried over further for a while, blinkers back on which he's had on for his latest wins and he's well handicapped here. Inexperienced claimer on board the worry, but hasnt looked too bad when i've seen her. Just realised im backing a lot of claimers tomorrow, hoping they do the business.
