DeanK Posted February 8, 2013 Posted February 8, 2013 [h=1]Moonee Valley Night Racing Betting: Manila Jewell is the perfect way to start the punting weekend at the Valley[/h] MOONEE VALLEY RACE 3 @ 7:45pm AEDT: The Alternate Railway Handicap is a 2040m race for fillies and mares rated between 0-89 where the 2.7 favourite with Centrebet is MANILA JEWELL. HOW THE RACE WILL BE RUN: With the two scratchings of CRYSTALISED and PENTIMENTO the field is reduced to just 5 runners. The only genuine on-pacer of the 5 is MANILA JEWELL and I expect her to be gifted the lead here. ALIBERANI will settle 2nd just off her with the 3 remaining mares settling the next 3 in line. Looks a race where on-pacers will be advantaged. RACE ANALYSIS: This looks a terrific race for MANILA JEWELL. She is just so honest and this is by far the weakest race she’s faced in a very long time. Last start she carried 60kgs in a stronger 2000m mares race at Flemington where she settled on the speed, found the lead early in the straight and boxed on well only to be beaten by in-form mare Lucky Angel. The 3rd mare in that race was Streets Of Seattle who carried a massive 8.5kgs less than MANILA JEWELL. Streets Of Seattle then went onto run a terrific race when wide the entire journey to run 3rd and was a decisive winner in her following start. Tonight she gets back to Moonee Valley where she has a terrific record, gets a bone dry track, has some weight relief with Chad Schofield’s claim and looks likely to get a very soft lead. She is 15 handicapper ratings points ahead of her next rival and is only giving away 3kgs and is a proven weight carrier. http://www.betzone.com.au/moonee-valley-night-racing-betting-manila-jewell-is-the-perfect-way-to-start-the-punting-weekend-at-the-valley Quote
