5:50 Kempton - Very First Blade - 1pt Win 20/1 Bet365 Tipped and backed this last time out when it finished 7th in a similar class 7 race, 2 lengths off the winner. Dropped a pound in handicap and Franny Norton on board again, hopefully can go well at Kempton where its ran twice before over shorter trip of 6 furlongs, running on at the end as if 7 furlongs here would suit. Worth a shot at the odds for me.

Re: BBOTD Wednesday 30th January K6.20 Compton Crofter e/w 16/1 Bet365 It's not too surprising that the 20/1 initally chalked up has gone already. The trainer and jockey are just about the most profitable ones to follow around here and the horse is now racing off 4lb less than its last winning mark. The 4th of 13 over c&d just a couple of runs back off a higher mark would see it in the mix here and now the jockey that partnered the horse to its only win to date gets back in the saddle. All in all, conditions are spot on and it still looks value at 16/1
