bartrum
never really bet on foreign racing but just so happened to see a big beast called joe de mata (i think) on atr stating he was very strong on true blood in 4.35 greyville. it was only a few seconds before the off but stated he was all over the 16to1, it went off at 10to1 and pi..ed it!!! Anyone know much about this bloke, was this a fluke or does he produce the winners??? obviously caught my eye how confident he was.... Stakes n chips
Re: joe de mata on atr From the few times ive seen him presenting his NAPs have been worth following but like you i mainly stick to the uk stuff so i dont get involved - im never gonna be in a position to interrogate his info. Primevil
Re: joe de mata on atr Everytime he gets the gig on here, he tips up winners. Alas you may see him 3 or 4 times a month, last week he was all over a 8/1 shot against a 1/2 shot. It bolted up.....The more success you have with ATR, the less you see of them. So we have to put up with Pinky n Perky on a Friday night, always bottom and in the negative of the tipping challenge....And Mick Fitz, who tells us all every jockey n trainer is trying for their lives, and he could not tip a wheel barrow. Typical ATR.:puke

Typical ATR.:puke l appreciate what your saying regarding the pair of them on atr on Friday nights but lets be honest, a heap of class 6 handicapps, claimers and sellers all within roughly 6lb of each other on cold December, January, February Friday nights is not the easiest place to find solid, well regarded bets is it. NeilM
Re: joe de mata on atr And thank heavens Southwell is currently off, you might as well play pin the tail on the donkey to get a winner there this time of year.
bartrum
Re: joe de mata on atr yeah friday nights on atr, bit like watching little and large(dave and gary) on the sky sports dog...... thanks anyway, looked on atr site to see if his tips are anywhere but cant see them. . . whilst on the subject of atr tipsters, alan thomson is in cracking form. Poor judgement in tipping by a wide margin. A blind man with his pin will do better. Thank heavens for the mute button.
Stakes n chips
Re: joe de mata on atr I quite like listening to them rip the shiite out of each other - though i do agree completely their tipping is generally pants. Occasionally though, they'll discuss the saturday races coming up and its on them you might glean a bit of useful info. Last friday night for example Pinky or Perky? (which is which? - im struggling to allocate a Perky :)) tipped up Rolling Star ante poste at 12s for the triumph hurdle (this was the evening b4 its first run) - price is now into 6s after a successful race the following day. Trouble is, due to the usual plop that gets their votes - again i personally didnt bother getting involved :\.
