[h=1]Caulfield Betting: Under The Eiffel gets his chance to break a long drought with Williams aboard[/h] t474_c82_663303-vasil.jpg CAULFIELD RACE 6 @ 4:10pm AEDT: The Swettenham Stud John Dillon Stakes is a 1400m Listed Handicap for 3 year olds and upwards where the 2.80 favourite with Sportingbet is BRITISH GENERAL. HOW THE RACE WILL BE RUN: Speeds looks ok without being in numbers. BRITISH GENERAL and LE REMAS look the likely leaders, they both like to run along at a good pace. It’s a slight query behind them, I’m inclined to think Craig Williams will show some initiative and push forward from the wide barrier and attempt to position handy to the speed on UNDER THE EIFFEL. ITS CRUNCH TIME, FUTURE SOLUTION and ORBIT EXPRESS next in line while the remainder of the field will settle midfield or beyond in a race where all runners should get there chance barring track bias and luck. RACE ANALYSIS: UNDER THE EIFFEL has been out of the winners circle for over 12 months now but gets his chance to win a race in this after racing consistently without winning. Last start he ran 1.6L 3rd behind the flying British General who today he meets 2.5kgs better at the weights. Champion jockey Craig Williams takes the ride, he has drawn 10 in a race where there is only 2 genuine on-pacers, I see Williams showing initiative here and going forward to sit handy to the speed set by British General and Le Remas. http://www.betzone.com.au/caulfield-betting-under-the-eiffel-gets-his-chance-to-break-a-long-drought-with-williams-aboard

Re: Caulfield Betting 26th January 2013 [h=1]Caulfield Betting: Two bet race in the mares sprint with Vain Attraction and Spartini the good value[/h] t475_ecc_074837-katelyn-mallyon.jpg CAULFIELD RACE 5 @ 3:30pm AEDT: The City of Glen Eira Handicap is a fillies and mares race for those rated between 0-89 where the 2.70 favourite with sportingbet is LOVEYAMADLY. HOW THE RACE WILL BE RUN: Speed looks pretty good. LOVEYAMADLY and SLEWSAY cross from wide barriers to tackle for the lead. CHINZIA, AVIONICS, BELLE EZ, and RIVIERE all settle handy with VAIN ATTRACTION not too far away. LADY ANTEBELLUM and SPARTINI will get back and come with one big run late. Looks a race where all horses will get their chance barring track bias and luck. RACE ANALYSIS: VAIN ATTRACTION is ticking along nicely for a race like this. Her last 3 starts have all been at the 0-89 level where she boasts a win and two 2nds to the flying Tariana. Today she stays at the same level but drops 2kgs in weight after Damien Thornton’s 3kg claim. She does look terribly well weighted carrying the lightest weight in the race with the compressed weight scale. She is carrying a lighter weight than quite a few horses that she is actually rated higher than. SPARTINI has won 7 of her 13 starts and she is 6 of 8 at the 1100m distance range. She comes into this race first up from a 40 week spell but she is the best horse in the race and will be rocketing home late. http://www.betzone.com.au/caulfield-betting-two-bet-race-in-the-mares-sprint-with-vain-attraction-and-spartini-the-good-value
