HOW THE RACE WILL BE RUN: The speed looks ok here. ZEDI KNIGHT will lead from SEA LORD. UNDENIABLY settles behind them, with PINWHEEL and OUTLANDISH LAD enjoying soft runs behind the three aforementioned. The two mares in the field KOONOOMOO and BONNIE MAC will more than likely settle at the tail. Looks a race where all runners will get their chance barring bad luck or track bias. RACE ANALYSIS: PINWHEEL looks well placed here in a Group 2 Weight For Age event. He comes off a 9 week break after running a gallant 4^th in the Winterbottom at Ascot. His form prior to that was outstanding for a race like this. He ran an unlucky 7^th in the Group 1 Sir Rupert Clarke Handicap where he was posted wide the entire race. That was after two successive victories at Warwick Farm winning the Warwick Stakes and The Missile at Group 2 and 3 level respectively. He 7 handicapper ratings points ahead of his next rival so if this were a handicap race he’d be giving the entire field weight. He’s a 4 time Group 2 and 3 winner, out of his rivals just OUTLANDISH LAD and KOONOOMOO have won at those levels before. HOW THE RACE WILL BE RUN: The speed looks ok here. The two likely leaders have drawn wide in STREETS OF SEATTLE and CRYSTALISED, they should generate good early speed in getting across to the fence. SANANGKU, HIDDEN MESSAGE and PRINCESS MOSSMAN can all settle handy while the rest of the field settle midfield and beyond in a race where all runners will get their chance barring bad luck and track bias. RACE ANALYSIS: LUCKY ANGEL has been up since May but she is showing no signs of dropping off and looks the one to beat again here. She’s had 14 starts this preparation between distances of 1425m-2600m in these 14 starts she’s been in the top 4 12 times with 3 wins to her name. After stepping up to listed level in the Werribee Cup where she far from disgraced herself running just 1.6 of a length off eventual winner Unusual Suspect. She dropped back in distance to the 2000m where she settled last off a swift tempo and at the top of the straight she was the only horse you wanted to be on. She loomed up and sprinted passed a field that is probably slightly stronger than what she meets tonight to come away with a dominant victory.
