[h=1]Flemington Betting: British General and Glen Boss pair up again and look hard to beat in the Chester Manifold[/h] FLEMINGTON RACE 6 @ 3:55pm AEDT: The Chester Manifold Stakes is a 1400m Listed race for 3 year olds and upwards where the 2.80 favourite with Bet365 is BRITISH GENERAL. HOW THE RACE WILL BE RUN: Not a huge amount of speed on paper. BRITISH GENERAL might be able to lead on his own terms here. BIG BUDDIE will more than likely push forward from the wide barrier with GOLD SAND and ROCKPECKER handy. FUTURE SOLUTION and COSMIC CAUSEWAY won’t be far away while the rest of the field will settle midfield or beyond in a race where the on-pacers look advantaged. RACE ANALYSIS: BRITISH GENERAL looks the one to beat again here. He’s won two in a row at this course and distance with Glen Boss on board and this doesn’t look a hell of a lot harder. Two starts ago he sat just off the New Boy before claiming him late in the straight. Then he went up slightly in grade to an open handicap where he was made to work hard for the lead, once he gained the lead he was then thrown a few challenges in the straight but kept finding to win in a quick time. Two genuine on-pacers STREETS OF SEATTLE and MANILA JEWELL will go forward. GENUINE SPIN and SAYANGKU from good barriers camp behind them while the remainder of the field settle midfield or beyond in a race where the on pacers look advantaged. RACE ANALYSIS: GENUINE SPIN looks well placed in this event. She comes into this race 3^rdup from a spell. Her first run for the preparation was over 1400m at Caulfield where she got back in running and was in the wrong part of the track in the straight and even still was slightly disappointing. She then went to Moonee Valley where she settled midfield and looked to be laboring with 600m to go before showing a nice turn of foot prior to and in the straight to put away her rivals.
