13:45 Ffos Las Bendant 4/1 (Coral, VC. 5.1 exchanges). I'm tempted by Last Shot here- wanted to back it at Huntingdon a few weeks ago but it didn't get to final decs. It was the jockey trainer strike rate that appealed to me there but that hasn't got the same appeal here. Paddy Brennan rides Bendant who goes well on soft and heavy ground. Won a hurdle here earlier in the year and got this distance over the smaller obstacles. His fourth to Drumshambo at Hereford last time out came because he weakened 5 out: the form is a bit mixed but with a decent rider I see no reason why he can't be given another chance. His dam was a winner on the all weather and the distance is 21f.
