Race in Focus - December Gold Cup - Cheltenham 2.30pm - Saturday 15 December

Anyone have any thoughts for this race? The Paddy Power Gold Cup usually gives us some sort of clue for this race but I feel a line can be put through the race this year as only 6 of 18 horses finished. My first thoughts on the race is to back Hunt Ball. Anyone have any idea if he is an intended runner? Lumping 12 stone around the track to win by 9 lengths at the festival is still fresh in the memory. Ground should be much better at the weekend with not much rain forecast this week which will suit Hunt Ball.
