[h=1]Ascot Betting: Luckygray the horse to beat in the Kingston Town in what is the last Group 1 of the year[/h] t426_51e_259463-luckygray.jpg ASCOT RACE 8 @ 8:15pm AESDT: The Kingston Town is a Group 1 Weight For Age event over 1800m for 3 year olds and upwards where LUCKYGRAY is the favourite at 2.65 Sportingbet HOW THE RACE WILL BE RUN: The speed looks ok without being a fast tempo. Although both ROSIE ROCKET and CHESTER ROAD were given midfield runs in their lead up races I’m expecting them to be the first two in running here today from the stable mates GOD HAS SPOKEN and PLAYING GOD. MR MOET, BELORA and LOPOV settle next in line from a wall of horses looking to settle midfield with cover. Expect LUCKYGRAY to be closer to the speed today from barrier 4. It looks a race where all horses should get their chance barring bad luck or track bias. RACE ANALYSIS: On weights and measures LUCKYGRAY has the majority of this field covered, the question mark is can the 200m rise in distance bring him undone like it did in last year’s edition of the race. His run in the Railway was absolutely outstanding when he was forced to go back to near last from the wide barrier and was out of the race with 400m to go before unleashing his barnstorming finishing burst to round up all but one of his rivals. He meets all the Railway competitors better at the weights in this, is drawn perfectly in barrier 4 and looks to be going better than last year. ROSIE ROCKET’s run in the Railway was every bit as good as LUCKYGRAY’s and I believe they should have fought out the finish. http://www.betzone.com.au/ascot-betting-luckygray-the-horse-to-beat-in-the-kingstown-town-in-what-is-the-last-group-1-of-the-year
