Re: League 2 > Novermber 24th Bristol Rovers v Bradford Pick Bradford at 2.5 Bristol rovers have a massive injury crisis only 9 players were fit at training on Thursday. They have signed a keeper on emergency loan after the previous keeper was recalled by fulham. Rovers also signed Branston on loan from Aldershot. Things must be bad when you are signing someone who cant get a game at Aldershot 2 days before a game. Bradford also have a few injury worries but they seem to be coping with them much better than Rovers and have signed on loan Blair Turrgott an england u19 international from West Ham.

Re: League 2 > Novermber 24th Aldershot vs Port Vale. Looks about as certain as anything can be in football. Aldershot have lost 5 of last 8 at home. Port Vale have won 5 of last 8 away. Aldershot 22nd in league. Port Vale 2nd. Aldershot only scored 4 goals in last 8 games. port Vale scored 16. Cheltenham vs Barnet. 3rd vs 24th Cheltenham won 5 of last 8 at home. Barnet lost 5 of last 8 albeit won last time out. however both score and concede in roughly equal numbers. seems a reasonable double good luck to all except the bookies :-)

Re: League 2 > Novermber 24th Yes Scoop on paper it looks obvious however after doing a bit more digging I think current best price on Vale, 6/5 is a bit short. I would be more inclined to take the Evens on Aldershot +0.25 on the AH with Bet 365 because of three things. One, Aldershot have kept three clean sheets in their last 5 League games so even though they might not be free scoring they can keep it tight. Admittedly they are playing the League's highest scorers however Vale have not scored in their last two away League matches. Secondly if you look at the form tables, which can provide some interesting insight, you will see that in the last 10 match table Port Vale are 4th and Aldershot are 23rd however bring that down to the last 6 matches and Vale have dropped to 18th while Aldershot have risen to 11th. Finally after losing 7 matches on the trot Aldershot have only lost 1 of their last 7 matches in all competitions which is the the same as Port Vale. I will admit it is not one to go mad on but I feel that Aldershot could well get a result here. Stake : 1pt on Aldershot +0.25 AH @ Eves with Bet365. GL to all.

Rovers also signed 'The Pickler' yesterday (Guy Branston) who will play centre back. The bloke has played for tons of teams in the lower leagues (must be 15-20) but his best days are behind him, legs have gone.
