Red Hot Poker and Devilfish moving platforms to Goalgaming - Scheduled 5th December.

Red Hot Poker are moving from IGT network on 5th December to "Goalgaming Ltd". Must admit this isn't a network I'm aware of, anyone have any previous experience of them or are they a new network?

Red Hot Poker is moving its player database and player funds to the new Maltese (EU) licensed entity which is Goalgaming Ltd which is licensed and regulated by the Lotteries & Gaming Authority through Class 3 License number LGA/CL3/160/2010 as a Poker Room on the Class 4, number LGA/CL4/800/2012 of Beproga Limited.
Red Hot's support team have confirmed to me that any BYOPP tokens/seats currently held will be transferred across and useable in future. They actually hope to get the BYOPP or a form of it back up and running soon which is good news, I know Fred amongst others did well on these. I have to say that todays email reminded me just how efficient Red Hot are. Sent a quick email to support at 15:58 and received a personalised (non scripted), friendly & very informative reply at 16:10, what great service! Good luck to them, look forward to trying the new network out in due course.

Was going to post the exact same thing Bart, wondering who they are and what the layout etc is like. Also got the same email from Devilfish, moving on the same date. :ok

Re: Red Hot Poker and Devilfish moving platforms to Goalgaming - Scheduled 5th Decemb Wonder what will happen there. Shame about IGT as their software was better than a few surviving ones like Boss for instance. The BYOPP was a great idea but suffered because of low numbers. Might be tough to attract enough players on the new network. Will check it out, Red Hot was a good place to play. Fred

Re: Red Hot Poker and Devilfish moving platforms to Goalgaming - Scheduled 5th Decemb Evening all! Thank you for your kind words about Red Hot Poker, guys. It's very much appreciated and I'm glad we are on the right side of efficient customer service (we brought our support back in house after originally outsourcing - big mistake!) :) This thread was brought to my attention and I thought I'd bring you some info on what's been happening with Red Hot Poker as a heads up before the email goes out in the next day or two, plus a few personal thoughts. Red Hot Poker has moved to a new platform provider, not network. Now we can offer multiple networks, casinos, sports betting and bingo products from one single Red Hot Poker account. We currently offer Revolution Poker Network (formerly Cake) and Play2B which is a new network that will be primarily targeted towards South America and Eastern Europe. And in the coming couple of weeks we'll be offering Ongame, too. There will be additional networks added as we progress and our goal is to offer around 6-10 different poker networks and a range of other gaming and betting products. This is the way forward for operators like us, in my opinion. It's a great step forward for us as our biggest issue was always a high rate of player churn. The most obvious reasons for this are usually down to (1) poor product (2) poor liquidity (3) poor promotions. As a couple of you have already mentioned, the Build Your Own Poker Package satellites were well received and we had real hopes for this, trying our best to support it, but if the other two variables are missing from the equation you really are pushing a rock up a hill...(we still have plans for BYOPP). After the announcement by IGT to close, all the existing partners made plans to migrate to other networks. We looked at quite a few options and some were attractive, some not so much and some that were just downright commercial suicide. We didn't want to find ourselves in a similar position another 2/3 years down the line having already invested heavily in another network! An opportunity arose to join a few other partners using this new business model and it has been a long few weeks trying to get everything ship shape before migration! We have now successfully migrated all the player accounts and funds to our new platform and it's ready for use. We aren't actively promoting it while we iron out a few issues with the website - I don't mean the poker platform (back end) as people are already playing on our networks and casino, I mean literally just a few visual things on the site/emails etc. The site you see at the moment is just temporary and we'll be developing a nice, shiny new one in the next couple of months. If you already have an account with Red Hot Poker, you just need to visit the site and request a new password before you log in. This will be sent to the registered email address. Once you've logged in you'll be required to accept the new terms and conditions for each of our partners and choose a new poker alias for each network you wish to play on. When we add more partners in the future, you'll just have to accept the T&Cs and then choose a poker alias - no more filling in forms and sending in documents. You do it once and that's it - happy days! When we've settled in we'll be launching some welcome campaigns and I invite you all to join us - 100% there will be a Qualify for Team RHP at live events which I think a few of you may like. So I hope to catch up with you all at a live game one day soon! In the meantime, if there is anything you need I will do my best to respond here, but if I don't reply in a timely manner please contact support who will be able to help or pass it on. Cheers! Paul

Re: Red Hot Poker and Devilfish moving platforms to Goalgaming - Scheduled 5th Decemb Many thanks for that great insight Paul and for taking the time to drop by and update us all, it's very much appreciated :ok It goes without saying that you are always welcome here and we all look forward to trying out the new RedHotPoker and helping in any way we can. Email confirming the "One Account - Multiple networks" received today (PL members - you may have to check your spam folder settings as my email provider seems a little over-enthusiastic on identify Katie from Red Hot Poker as sinister somehow, which I'm sure she's far from being ;) ) Won't copy the email across unless anyone specifically wants to see it as Paul has already confirmed the details. You can check out the upcoming promotions via the Red Hot website. I'll double check the Punters Lounge-Red Hot promotional link (and post it shortly) for those members not currently with a Red Hot Poker account but who are looking to try it out ;)
