BUFFERING, TIGER TEES and HOWMUCHDOYOULOVEME will burn along in the lead. SATIN SHOES, SEA SIREN and SNITZERLAND will settle just behind them while the remainder of the field will look for cover somewhere midfield or beyond in a race where all horses should get there chance barring bad luck or track bias. RACE ANALYSIS: Excellent race. SEA SIREN is a star, she is now a 3 time Group 1 winner after a terrific first up win in the Manikato where she sat off the hot favourite for the race in BUFFERING and SATIN SHOES and went passed them in the straight and sprinted away. Today she gets to the Flemington straight for the first time and looks set for a cosy run just in behind a good speed. She has opened as much as 4’s in early markets which is more than reasonable. BUFFERING failed badly in the Manikato but it was true to form as the last 3 of his 3rd up runs have been below par. http://www.betzone.com.au/flemington-betting-buffering-can-turn-the-tables-on-star-mate-sea-siren-in-the-patinack-farm-classic

MR MAKE BELIEVE and UTAH SAINTS contest the lead with TESTASCANA, LAUNAY and REGALMANIA just behind them. INSTINCTION looks likely to get the lovely trail behind them with TOKUGAWA also enjoying a nice run. There’s 6 genuine back markets in this race so the on-pacers might be able to get a big enough break and hold on if they don’t overdo the early speed. RACE ANALYSIS: It’s a tricky finish to the day. UTAH SAINTS is slowly building to a win. All 3 of his runs this preparation have had some merit about them in particular his last run which was a brave 3rd over 1600m in the Sale Cup in which he led and only faded late in the piece. 1600m is probably a shade too far for him so back to the 1400m suits ideally. He has never been out of the money 4th up, he looks likely to get a gun run just off the leader MR MAKE BELIEVE, his record over this track and trip is better than anything in the race and he meets INSTINCTION 2kg better on weights from their last outing where INSTINCTION was victorious. He was more than victorious, he was utterly dominant and well backed last start, he gets to Flemington where he races well, gets a bone dry track which is ideal and looks likely for a perfect trail behind the speed. http://www.betzone.com.au/flemington-betting-utah-saints-can-provide-punters-with-a-get-out-of-jail-bet-in-the-last-of-the-carnival
