FIVEANDAHALFSTAR and BULLION EXPRESS battle for the lead with OUR DESERT WARRIOR and COSTA NOVA handy to the speed and JIMANDO and HVASSTAN just behind them. HONORIUS and SUPER COOL position next with the rest of the field racing midfield or worse in a race where all horses will get their chance barring bad luck or track bias. RACE ANALYSIS: Very interesting Derby. Before last week’s Vase at Moonee Valley ITSADUNDEEL looked an absolute moral to win the race. After the race the Derby changed complexion as SUPER COOL beat him after ITSADUNDEEL had every chance to win the race in the straight. After enjoying a softer run at the tail of the field SUPER COOL still ran home in quicker sectionals than ITSADUNDEEL which may suggest that he has come to the end of his preparation. However he is the best horse in the race and the wide open spaces of Flemington are likely to suit him. His win when defeating PROSIR in the Spring Champion was outstanding and that of a future star stayer but at the price on offer I think he is under the odds. SUPER COOL has a sense of timing about him and is a horse that looks likely to run out a strong 2500m. http://www.betzone.com.au/flemington-betting-in-a-super-competitive-derby-kav-s-super-cool-stayer-is-the-value

Re: Flemington Betting 3rd November [h=1]Flemington Betting: The mares clash in the Myer Classic with Streama leading the way in all markets[/h] t387_8a2_127417-streama.jpg [TABLE=width: 425]

PEAR TART probably leads from STREAMA and OASIS BLOOM. RED TRACER and INVEST settle just behind them from good barriers. RASBERRIES and YOSEI settle next in line with SKYERUSH and APPEARANCE behind them from wide barriers. The remainder of the field settle back in a race where all mares should get their chance barring bad luck or track bias. RACE ANALYSIS: STREAMA showed she was back to somewhere near her best when she took out the Tristarc in quite dominant fashion. She was gifted a soft time of it in the lead that day and there doesn’t look that much speed on paper once again, however Flemington is more a run-on track, so the back markers will get their chance. She’s proven up to and beyond a mile, she’ll get a nice on-pace run and she has her regular rider Hugh Bowman doing the steering which can only be a positive. SECRET ADMIRER has the best form lines in the race, consistently racing at the very top against the males at Weight For Age. http://www.betzone.com.au/flemington-betting-the-mares-clash-in-the-myer-classic-with-streama-leading-the-way-in-all-markets
