SKY RAIDER or DIAMONDS AT NOON lead from FIUMICINO who box seats and then ZUMA ROCK, PRACTISED and SPECHENKA but that is not clear-cut. The rest of the field settle midfield or beyond in a race where being on the speed looks to be advantageous. RACE ANALYSIS: I think this race is a lot more open than the early markets suggest. PRACTISED is 2.8 and PUISSANCE DE LUNE is 3.5 and they clearly top the market yet they come off much weaker races than some of their rivals. SKY RAIDER comes through the Listed Bart Cummings Quality over 2500m at Flemington. He led up a good field of stayers and fought well to the line but was overshadowed late by Tanby, Maluckyday and Dame Claire who are all nominated for the Lexus Stakes on Derby Day. He looks likely to get a nice on-pace run and he won’t lack any fitness as he is having his 9th run this preparation, only missing the top 4 once. http://forum.punterslounge.com/newthread.php?do=newthread&f=163
