ROLLING PIN, SOMEPIN ANYPIN, WILD AND PROUD and FAT AL all push towards the lead. TAGUS, AMBIDEXTER and RANGIRANGDO settle handy to the speed with SHOOT OUT, GANSTA’S CHOICE, and LIGHTINTHENITE not far away. The rest of the field will settle midfield or worse in a race where all horses will get their chance barring track bias and luck. RACE ANALYSIS: Terrific edition of the Epsom where we see the best of the Weight For Age milers with big weights Vs the up and comers with light weights. SHOOT OUT was terrific first up at this track and trip a fortnight ago. He got into a two horse war with his stable mate RANGIRANGDO who had 1 run under his belt but came out triumphant and they gapped the rest of the field. His stats at the Randwick mile are terrific, he should get a nice midfield run in a race where the tempo looks good and he is far higher credentialed than anything (bar maybe RANGIRANGDO) in this race so I don’t expect the weight to slow him. http://www.betzone.com.au/randwick-betting-classy-shoot-out-to-carry-the-weight-to-victory

Re: Randwick Betting 6th October [h=1]Randwick Betting: Permit the best of Waller's stayers[/h] t354_3e3_424763-permit.jpg [TABLE=width: 462]

GLENCADAM GOLD probably takes up the running from his stable mate in RUBEN PERCIVAL. THE VERMINATOR, KELINNI, FICTIONAL ACCOUNT and CRAFTY IRNA all settle handy while the remainder of the field settle midfield or beyond. Looks a race where every running will get their chance barring bad luck and track bias. RACE ANALYSIS: Competitive edition of the Metropolitan. PERMIT is a genuine stayer who has been running well at unsuitable distances in his first 3 runs this preparation. His record between 2400m-2800m is terrific and I am expecting the trip up 400m to the 2400m will sting him into action. His trainer Chris Waller has a super record with stayers and I believe PERMIT is close to his best and he’s destined for a Group 1, if not today, sometime in the near future. He has drawn well, gets a dry surface which he excels on and gets down nicely in the weights and at the 9’s on offer is a terrific each way bet. http://www.betzone.com.au/randwick-betting-permit-the-best-of-waller-s-stayers
