DAME CLAIRE, SINGLE MINDED, RIALYA and IM JAKE all push towards the lead with SKY RAIDER and SHENZHOU STEEDS settling handy. NORSQUI, EXCEPTIONALLY, and SEVILLE next in line with the rest of the field settling midfield and beyond in a race where all horses will get their chance barring bad luck and track bias. RACE ANALYSIS: EXCEPTIONALLY is absolutely flying! She has finally rediscovered the staying form that saw her place behind Americain and Moudre in the 2010 Geelong Cup. Her last 3 runs have been outstanding, the first of which was a dominant victory in the Banjo Patterson against a weak field of off season stayers. She then had a 9 week break and resumed with a huge finish behind Excluded at Flemington over 2000m. The form out of that race has held up with Buxted who finished 5th, going on to win a listed race next start at Moonee Valley. She then went to the Group 3 Naturalism where she rocketed home again in an amazing last 400m to finish 0.7 of a length away in 3rd. http://www.betzone.com.au/flemington-betting-exceptionally-good-stayer

VOILA ICI probably leads unopposed with HAPPY TRAILS and DECEMBER DRAW not too far away. GREEN MOON and MR CHARD are next in line while SNEAK A PEAK might be ridded more aggressively now that he’s out to 2000m. The rest of the field will settle midfield and beyond in the race where the on-pacers look advantaged. RACE ANALYSIS: GREEN MOON has his hoof on the til after two very good runs over unsuitable trips. He was enormous first up, storming home from the tail to finish a close up 5th in the Memsie. He then went to Moonee Valley for the Dato where he looked home with 200m to go before just tiring slightly late to lose in a photo finish to HAPPY TRAILS. Today he steps up to the 2000m, a distance he has won at 3 times, looks set for the perfect run in transit and gets a slight weight swing on his rivals from the Dato. DECEMBER DRAW has came back really well from injury, he wasn’t far away in the Makybe Diva and then ran a super 3rd in the Underwood where he had to work hard early to gain a spot on speed from a wide gate but stuck on well to finish just behind VOILA ICI and Ocean Park. http://www.betzone.com.au/flemington-betting-green-moon-ticks-all-the-boxes
