DeanK Posted September 25, 2012 Share Posted September 25, 2012 [h=1]The Caulfield Wrap: Kiwi's day at the Heath[/h] For the 2nd year running a New Zealander has taken out the Underwood Stakes with Ocean Park winning the race in impressive fashion at Caulfield on Saturday. Last year the race went to follow kiwi Lion Tamer, this year Ocean Park made it consecutive Group 1 wins after winning the Makfi Challenge Stakes in New Zealand then toppling some of Australia’s best Weight For Age stayers in the Underwood. After initially being held up at the turn, Ocean Park got clear running and sprinted quickly to surge past the Peter Moody import in Voila Ici who was courageous in defeat.
