DeanK
[h=1]The Randwick Wrap: Shooting for the stars[/h] In what will go down as one of his finest training performances, Chris Waller has trained the first two over the line in the Group 1 George Main Stakes at Randwick on Saturday with Shoot Out taking out the event. Having his first run this preparation after trialling impressively, Shoot Out staged a two horse war with stable mate Rangirangdo before eventually prevailing with the Grahame Begg trained mare Secret Admirer finishing in 3rd. Waller praised his star duo and has big plans for them both this spring. “We thought this horse was 90% fit today but horses like this show that is just a myth, they don’t know how to get beaten. (Rangirangdoo) was the same he is an eight-year-old, very gallant, beaten by a horse in his prime. “Blinkers fire a horse up, I thought he was a touch keen in the Doncaster with them on and we were first up today, you need to be tractable in a big race and he was today, winkers were the right call. “We had to get today out of the way, we had to make sure he came back, obviously we will be looking towards Melbourne if we canâ€. http://www.betzone.com.au/the-randwick-wrap-shooting-for-the-stars
