CANALI, CLASSY CHLOE, and DREAMFACE all surge towards the lead whilst HOT SPIN, PETMAN, and ORTAYGA will provide more pressure also. KULGRINDA, UTAH SAINTS, and BASIL DE MAN next in line whilst the rest of the field will be midfield or beyond in a race where all horses will get their chance barring bad luck or track bias. RACE ANALYSIS: KULGRINDA looks well placed in this. She’s first up in this race after a preparation that netted 3 wins and 2 2nds. She is usually dynamite first up, last preparation her first up run was against Bel Sprinter who defeated her but they gapped the rest of the field, a similar performance in this race will see her winning. She’s drawn wide but this may play into her hands if they elect to let the speed go and settle just off them as the tempo looks ferocious. http://www.betzone.com.au/caulfield-betting-speedy-mare-to-grind-rivals-into-the-turf

JUNGLE RULER from barrier 1, LAUNAY from barrier 6 and DUSTY STAR from barrier 14 all will look to try and lead. UNDERESTIMATION, INSTINCTION and TESTASCANA will be handy and LIVIGNO not far too far away. The rest will settle midfield or worse in a race where every horse should get their chance barring bad luck and track bias. RACE ANALYSIS: Another pretty open race. ERASET has been a bit of an enigma throughout his career but last preparation he turned it around winning 2 of his last 3 starts and he was painfully unlucky in the race he lost. He rarely runs a bad race fresh, looks set for a nice midfield run and should get pace to suit. He is a better horse at Flemington and over 1600m but I think with good speed and the right run he is worth an each way or 1 x 3 ticket first up. http://www.betzone.com.au/caulfield-betting-eraset-each-way-value
