Every other horse in the field has a pattern of racing midfield or back. KING DIAMOND and SIERRA NEVADA are two that have raced on the pace before and they might find themselves up there today. And perhaps EBONY ROCK with the smart Craig Williams on board from barrier 3 can be closer to the speed but besides SPACECRAFT this looks an extremely messy speed map. RACE ANALYSIS: He may not have won for a while but SPACECRAFT looks well placed to break his drought in this. A SHADE BETTER, UNCHAIN MY HEART and possibly BUXTED race handy to the pace with the rest of the field midfield or worse. Looks a race where every horse should get their chance barring bad luck or track bias. RACE ANALYSIS: TANBY looks extremely well placed in this event. He comes into the race 4^thup from a spell and 2 of the 3 runs have been very encouraging. He closed well late at Moonee Valley behind stable mate Excluded two starts ago before having no luck over 1700m at Caulfield the following start but only being beaten 3 lengths. Today he steps up to 2500m, which he did last year to win this race.
