He didn't perform well in last weekend's Dutch Open, but prior to that he was 2nd in the Omega European Masters and the week before that he was 3rd at Gleneagles, playing some superb golf. He has also had two other Top 10's this year, in the Wales Open and Malaysian Open and it is only a matter of time before he wins his first European Tour event. He is still only 21, looks a lot older and has a lot of potential. *Lorenzo Gagli* My grandmother was from Florence. This is the Italian Open, and we have a talented golfer from Florence here, so it is a tad sentimental, but he looks way overpriced at over 100/1 on Betfair and 100/1 with the firms, especially playing on home soil. There were more encouraging signs last weekend in the KLM Open where he finished 17th, which happens to be his best performance of this year. Hopefully he can build on that and get encouragement playing at home. *Mark Foster* Going to go for a big outsider here, but he does have a european tour win to his name. He is a very experienced player and has showed patches of nice form when 5th in the Irish Open and 7th in Costa Del Sol earlier in the year. He makes the cut more times than not which i like. He was 12th in this event in 2008, 14th in 2007, 19th in 2004, and has only missed the cut once in this event, so i will take a punt at a massive price.
