The rank outsider BARE KNUCKLE might lead them here. ZAMORAR was ridden conservatively last start to no avail, so he might revert back to his normal racing pattern of running on the pace. READY TO RIP, SECOND EFFORT, MR CHARD and PRINCE OBAMA can all settle handy from good gates. The remainder of the field will settle midfield or back. Looks a race where being on the speed will be advantageous barring track bias and luck in running. RACE ANALYSIS: READY TO RIP is 2 from 2 since coming over from Queensland to join the Peter Moody stable. Both victories have been narrow yet impressive. His last was of a horse looking for the 1400m where he sat just off a moderate tempo and gradually got to rivals ZAMORAR and Dusty Star. Today he looks to gain the gun run from barrier 3 and gets a rain affected track which will advantage him and will disadvantage others. He has opened between $5 and $6 in early markets which I would suggest is good value with the track already a heavy 8 with the strong chance of it being downgraded further. http://www.betzone.com.au/caulfield-betting-moody-s-ripper-shoots-for-a-hatrick

Something may race outside of their normal patterns here. SASSY BAY, LETS BE HAPPY, and PRINCESS DIABLO could lead. Expect TOTAL ATTRACTION to be more prominent today and Kiwi mare REMEMBA HOWE could push forward from a wide gate also. The rest probably go back or settle midfield in a race where being on or around the speed looks the place to be. RACE ANALYSIS: I think TOTAL ATTRACTION has a bit on her rivals here. She resumed with an unlucky 2nd behind the talented Darley runner in Glows. She should have finished closer and arguably could have won the race but never saw clear galloping room until late. Last preparation she was mixing it with the likes of Empress Rock who would start a very short priced favourite in this. From the draw I can see her settling 5th or 6th one off the fence and be well within striking distance to use her nice turn of foot in the straight. http://www.betzone.com.au/caulfield-betting-attractive-proposition-for-punters
