Storm to win by 1-12 $3.00 @IASBet confidence 6/10 Suncorp Stadium, Friday 7.35pm Last time they met- Storm 34 Broncos 10 Head to head betting- Storm $1.65 Broncos $2.30 A big game at Suncorp Friday night between the Broncos and Storm and a game that is very important for both teams. The Broncos are sitting in seventh spot with a record of 11-10 and they were an improved effort last week, even though they lost to a hot Bulldogs team. The Storm are sitting in second spot with a record of 14-7 and were a little bit scrappy in their win against the Titans last week. Re: NRL round 24 Melbourne -7.5 @ 2.35 sportsbet A good performance by the Broncos last week against the Bulldogs which shows that they may be coming back into some form with the run in to the semi finals. They have a very good pack of forwards and there is not much between the two sides there, but the big difference is in the backs, as besides the centre pairing of Hodges and Reed, the Storm cover them in the other areas. The Storm were ordinary in the first half against the titans but lifted in the second half to overwhelm, but doubt that they allow Brisbane to jump to a big lead here and expect them to be more focused from the start. Like Melbourne to win here, as they have beaten the Broncos in 5 of their last 6 meetings, especially of the Broncos continue to miss their tackles Canterbury -12.5 @ 2.45 sportsbet Bulldogs have won 11 straight games and now with the added bonus of Graham and Kasiano back for this game, they look even stronger. Expect them to have too much in the forwards for the Tigers, as they have too many players who can set up second phase play with their offoads for Wests to counter. In the backs, besides Marshall not enough quality to stop the likes of Morris and Inu, and especially Barba who has been in sensational form. Wests have lost their last 3 games to the Bulldogs and doubt that they can win here Record: 59-92 (-6.79)

Melbourne -7.5 @ 2.35 :eyes Canterbury -12.5 @ 2.45 :eyes
Canberra -7.5 @ 1.93 sportsbet The Raiders need to continue to win to force themselves into the top 8 and they have shown some promise in the last few weeks to suggest that they are going to be thereabouts. They are coming off a 20-10 win over Penrith last week and this Roosters side is not much better. The Roosters were easily beaten by the Eels last week, and they are a side that look like they can't wait for the season to end. With the Raiders getting Tilse back in the side, their big forward pack looks even better, and though the Roosters have the edge in the halves, the rest of the backline as some question marks over it. Like the Raiders to win again, Souths -7.5 @ 2.05 sportsbet Souths get back Inglis for this game and he should be primed for a big one here. Expect Souths to bounce back after losing to Manly last week against a Cronulla side that has lost form at the wrong time of the season, losing 4 of their last 5 games. While both teams have very good forward packs, the rabbitohs have the edge in the backs as the Sharks have been found wanting in recent weeks out wide, and with the pace the Rabbitohs have out there, they can exploit this. Record: 59-92 (-6.79)

Re: NRL round 24

Canberra -7.5 @ 1.93 :wall Gave up a late try to win by 4 points Souths -7.5 @ 2.05 :(
Penrith +7.5 @ 2.00 sportsbet Warriors are playing anything but what they are capable of and with both teams having little to play for, as they cannot make the top 8, then hard to see any side playing with the commitment that they have not showed all year. Taking the Panthers with the points as they have shown some slightly better form than the Warriors in losing their games in recent weeks, while the Warriors have been woeful, and all is not well there Parramatta +7.5 @ 2.00 sportsbet Gold Coast have still got a sniff of making the top 8 and based on their first half performance against Melbourne last week, they should do well here. However a resurgent Parramatta side that has picked up a few good wins in recent weeks and are battling to avoid the wooden spoon, will push them all the way, and not give them much room to use their backs here. The Titans have a few injuries here which may even this game up, and like the Eels to keep this close, and maybe even win it Manly -9.5 @ 1.95 sportsbet Manly were too good for Souths last week and should be stronger with the return of Matai and King, and like them to extend their 3 game winning streak. They were ruthless in beating the Rabbitohs and now at full strength, they are putting it together with the semi finals around the corner. They will be looking to stitch up a top 4 spot with a win here and though Newcastle have played well in recent weeks, they are up against a very good side that they have lost 10 out of their last 12 meetings against. They will be competitive but Manly should be fresher for this with an extra three days to prepare for this and like them to win well here Record: 59-96 (-10.79)

Penrith +7.5 @ 2.00 :D Parramatta +7.5 @ 2.00 :( Manly -9.5 @ 1.95 :D
North Qld -7.5 @ 2.25 sportsbet Dragons need to win their last three games to have any chance of getting into the top 9 while the Cowboys ae looking to ensure their top 8 spot and maybe even get in the top 4. Not liking this Dragons forward pack as they lack the go-forward that the Cwoboys have, and with Thurston and Bowen having plenty of space to operate behind them, like them to tear up the Dragons defence. Soward in particular has been disappointing for them and if he cannot fire for them, then Thurston will have everything is own way here. Believe that this is the time of year when the top players step up and with Thurston and Bowen, the Cowboys have the two players to do it Record: 61-97 (-9.84)
