*Singeur - Ripon 7:35* This horse has won 6 times over this trip of 5f, and should be a lot sharper after it's latest reappearance run. It is now back down to it's last winning handicap mark of 92, being dropped 2 pounds for its run last time out. It should come on heaps for that run. It was 2nd here on it's only ever run at Ripon which is a positive. Bastiman has only ever had 1 winner at Ripon before, so i will back it each way. Re: Flat Racing Tuesday 7th of August Fran Berry going to Ripon for one ride? A misclick on the booking site from the Nicholls yard? Eye catching never the less. Anyway, i noted Bonnie Charlie down last time out after a very suspect looking ride in which Paul Quinn was banned for 14 days under the non trier rules. Travelled sweetly and was barely asked the question, drop to 5f doesnt look a problem based on that effort and will go on the ground. Not the easiest to win with, never has been but well handicapped, and at 9/1 im liking an each way bet.
