4.30 GALWAY MAXIM GORKY 3pts win @ 8/1 bog (Paddy Power) Very unlucky on his second last start when stumbled in landing at the second last flight when arguably still travelling the best of the leading trio and after a nice round of jumps. Won his next start even if hung in the run-in. Very well bred horse, represents a trainer in form with a good record with his runners over hurdles (20%) here at Galway and with the Irish champion jockey Davy Russell who picked him among a couple of good alternatives for this race this seems a very good chance for Maxim Gorky on his handicap debut.
