He has gone 0-3 with a 5.34 ERA against Arizona and allowed 7 runs on 9 hits in the 10-5 loss to them last month but like him to pitch much better here at home. Maholm has preferred pitching at home and during the day and with the Cubs having won 5 of their last 6 home games, like them to do well against Kennedy, who is 6-7, with a 4.26 ERA. He has allowed at least 4 runs in 3 of his last 5 starts, and has gone 1-1 with a 6.66 ERA in four starts against the Cubs, including allowing 5 runs on 10 hits in the 10-5 home win over them last month.
