Bart(UK) Posted July 10, 2012 Share Posted July 10, 2012 Although there has been no official word from Gala/Coral yet on the official switch over date, their website has begun to advertise the software change and we recently had hints via "Our Graeme" (completely unassociated cilla black/blind date reference) that it's likely soon. In the past when a skin changes networks it often results in the loss of any remaining player points and tickets/tokens, due to different formats/structure on the new network. Again this hasn't been confirmed or denied yet by Gala/Coral, but it might be a wise move to cash in those tournament tokens and player points before the switch. Use them or possibly lose em! On Coral, there's not much you can currently spend player points on, mainly cash bonuses and entries into the Micromania tournaments ($0.05 to $0.55). Assume Gala is similar, but maybe worth a mini-grind for a little extra pocket money. Lobby now states the following on opening: "New software coming soon - All VIP points remaining after the upgrade will be exchanged for up to $1k" Further details not yet known.
