DOUBTFUL JACK has drawn 18 and will push towards the lead with CHOSEN TO FLY who is out wide also in barrier 15. CANNONBALL has finally drawn well and will be in the first few in running as will ITS PRINCE and LORD PYRUS. GALILEO GOLD, POPULATION, STONEBLACK and GOLD SAND can all settle handy also. Looks a race where every horse will get their chance barring bad luck and track bias. RACE ANALYSIS: This is tough. Not much here would surprise. MENADOS is the up and comer of the race and his 3 runs this preparation have been excellent. Last start, over this track and trip he settled back in the field and come with a very nice run down the outside to hold off the in-form New York. http://www.betzone.com.au/flemington-betting--super-open-winter-championship

The two potential leaders are GOSSIP GIRL and BEYOND PARDON. WEALTHY LAD, PRINCE OBAMA and BROKEN settle just off them with READY TO RIP, VERDASCO and KING HOAKS next in line with the backmarkers in DASH FOR VIZ, PERTURBO and DEL PALIO bringing up the rear. Looks a race where every horse will get their chance barring bad luck and track bias. RACE ANALYSIS: Possibly the most intriguing runner of the day resumes here in READY TO RIP. He is having his first start for the all-conquering Peter Moody stable who has a terrific record for new horses first up. READY TO RIP showed enormous talent as a youngster in Queensland, winning his first 3 starts impressively before having a long list of unlucky runs due to his race pattern of settling back in the run. http://www.betzone.com.au/flemington-betting--ready-to-rip-into-melbourne
