He has gone 6-4 with a 3.06 ERA in 14 starts against Minnesota, but did give up 3 runs on 9 hits in the 4-3 road win over them in May and had allowed 6 runs on 6 hits in the 11-7 home loss to them earlier that month. While Verlander shut them down yesterday, like the Twins to score some runs on Porcello here, as he has a 5.19 ERA when pitching during the day, and they have given Diamond at least 4 runs of support in 7 of his last 10 starts. Diamond is 7-3, with a 2.63 ERA as he has allowed as he has allowed at least 3 runs in 7 of his last 10 starts, including his last 5 road starts. Like Detroit to get to him as they are hitting .333 against him, and have scored 4+ runs for Porcello in 8 of his last 10 starts. Chicago White Sox - Texas under 9.5 @ 2.04 pinnacle Quintana has gone 3-1, with a 2.19 ERA and though he allowed 2 runs or less in his first seven starts. He is coming off allowing 6 runs on 8 hits in the 14-7 road win over the NY Yankees and like him to bounce back here as he has a 1.74 ERA at home as well as a 0.35 ERA when pitching during the day, allowing 1 run in 3 day starts. Harrison is 11-3, with a 3.16 ERA as he has allowed 2 runs or less in 7 of his last 8 starts, including his last 3 of 4 road starts. He is 3-0 with a 2.91 ERA in six starts against the White Sox as he gave up just 4 hits in the 5-0 home win over them in April. Like both of these pitchers to keep the batters quiet Milwaukee - Miami over 9.5 @ 2.26 pinnacle Fiers is 3-2, with a 2.29 ERA but has allowed 4 runs in 2 of his 3 home starts, as he does tend to pitch better on the road and at night. The Marlins have scored at least 4 runs in 7 of Buehrle's last 10 starts and like them to score some runs here. Re: MLB: July 5th 2012 Picks 1-3 (-1.96) Astros @ Pirates. -I'll be backing the home team in this one. The Pirates are facing a decent pitcher in B. Norris, the problem with Norris is he brings a 7.55 road ERA in to this game. It should be noted that Norris is getting hit too, last 22 IP he has given up 23 runs and 7 HR's. The Pirates on the other hand are racking right now, their last 7 games they are hitting .337 with 16 HR's. Pirates (-1.37) 1.37 to win 1.00. 5dimes. Luck & Laters.

Cleveland - Tampa Bay over 9.5 @ 2.03 pinnacle Tomlin is 4-5, with a 5.85 ERA as he has allowed 4+ runs in 5 of his last 7 starts, including 2 of his last 3 home starts. His team has alternated wins and losses in these 7 starts, and has been given some run support, with 4+ runs scored in 5 of these 7 games, and having gone 0-1 with a 5.25 ERA in 2 starts against Tampa Bay last season, this suggests they may score a few runs off him here too. He is opposed by Hellickson who is 4-4 with a 3.44 ERA who has not pitched past the 5th innings in his last 3 starts. He has gone 0-4 with a 4.45 ERA in his last 6 starts and with the Indians hitting well, like them to get to him considering he has got a 4.30 ERA on the road Pittsburgh -1.5 @ 2.52 pinnacle Karstens has gone 1-2, with a 5.25 ERA as he is coming off allowing 2 runs on 4 hitsin the 7-3 road win over St Louis. He has lost his last 4 starts, with 3 of these on the road, allowing 20 runs in these games, and though the Pirates go for a rare 4 game sweep of them, they have won their last 5 home games against them, and like them to do so again here. Atlanta - Chicago Cubs over 8.5 @ 2.12 pinnacle Minor is 4-6, with a 6.20 ERA as he has allowed 4+ runs in 8 of his last 10 starts, including 3 of his last 4 home starts. He has a 5.55 ERA at home and a 5.59 ERA at night and like the Cubs to get to him as he does tend to give up home runs. Minor's win-loss record would be even worse but for the fact that the Braves have scored at least 4 runs in 8 of these last 10 starts, averaging nearly 6 runs in these games. They face Garza who is 4-6, with a 4.01 ERA who has allowed at least 3 runs in 5 of his last 8 starts, as he has only two wins to show for it. He has gone 1-4 with a 6.00 ERA in his last 6 road starts and has a 5.22 overall on the road, as well as a 5.59 ERA at night. The Braves are hitting him at .348 so like them to score some runs here to help to send it over St. Louis - Colorado over 9.5 @ 2.11 pinnacle Lynn is 10-4, with a 3.62 ERA but has gone 0-2 with a 9.98 ERA in his last 3 starts as he has allowed at least 5 runs in each of these last 3 starts. He has allowed just 4 runs in his three home starts, and like him to pitch much better here. He is opposed by Arrieta who is 3-9, with a 5.81 ERA and has allowed 4+ runs in 7 of his last 10 starts, including his last 3 road starts. Like the Angels to win this one Record: 94-157 (-25.45)
