Stallion Stats

Recommended Posts

When will people start taking more notice of how well the stallion does at producing/improving offspring of a certain age? We've just had Lady Ibrox come in third at 66/1 in the 2yo opener at Redcar. Her sire is Ishiguru who's had 4 2yo winners from 10 this season, which had the beating of the other stallion's representatives who were running. Three from ten on good going, too, since the flat season began. I feel that stallion stats, in certain classifications, are an ideal alternative to true form reading, especially when there's not much there to be interpreted and they can work for either flat or jumps without applying any adjustments between the codes.
