Fractional (UK odds) to Decimal (Australian odds) Conversion Table

Here is a ready reckoner to convert the UK Fractional Odds to Australian Decimal Odds and vice versa; "Fractional"-style odds (most common in the UK and Ireland) are quoted as a fraction indicating the amount that would be paid out relative to a given stake. Fractional odds of 1/2 imply that the bet would pay out 1 unit for every 2 units risked, while fractional odds of 2/1 imply that the bet would pay out $2 for every $1 risked. Fractional odds of 1/2 and 2/1 are the equivalents of US odds of -200 and +200, respectively. Using fractional-style odds, an even odds bet would be quoted as 1/1. "Decimal"-style odds (most common outside the US, UK, and Ireland) are quoted as a positive number greater than 1 (typically displayed to 2 or more decimal places). It represents the number of dollars that would be returned if the bet wins including the initial stake. Hence, decimal odds of 1.50 imply that if a $1 bet were to win, $1.50 would be returned to the bettor (the $1 initial stake plus $0.50 in winnings), while decimal odds of 3.00 imply that if a $1 bet were to win $3 would be returned to the bettor (the $1 initial stake plus $2 in winnings). Decimal odds of 1.50and 3.00 are the equivalents of US odds of -200 and +200, respectively.
