Re: Midweek > League 2 > March 27th Bradford V Crawley A team in a relegation battle against a team looking for promotion and a game I could see ending as a score draw. City have been doing well against teams from the top half of the table, sadly we can't seem to get 3pts against those around us in the bottom half. I'd expect Crawley to come here and attack us and that could work in our favour as we seem to do well against teams like this and struggle when faced with a 5 man midfield. I'd expect this to be a game where both teams score, we struggle to keep clean sheets despite looking tighter at the back. If Crawley have done their homework they will probably try and get at the left back Fry. Our main attacking threat is Kyel Reid, a fast and tricky winger that might not even line up on Tuesday night as his wife is in London expecting their first child. Without him we seem a bit lost for ideas so look out for his name in the line ups. We have Dagnall on loan from Barnsley and most league 2 fans will know all about him. I saw Crawley on TV a while back against Shrewsbury and they looked quite ordinary but have a great striker there now in Gary Alexander and he's too good for this level. We have not lost at home since November but have drawn way too many, including against Port Vale and Hereford where we looked awful. Hanson is a handful and can benefit from the crosses put in by Reid (if he plays) and is our current top scorer and got one on Saturday. We play with a lack of urgency, look lacklustre at times and any half hearted play will surely be exposed by Crawley. We seem to look better when chasing a game and forced to attack and a regular tactic is to put Andrew Davies up front late on. He is a centre back but is a great header of a ball and also proves dangerous at set pieces. He is 33-1 with Paddypower for 1st goal and the same price for last goal. He managed to score 3 games in a row against Burton, Bristol Rovers and Port Vale so 33-1 looks too big. He has also gone close recently with a few headed efforts. My selections for this game would be as follows: 2pts - Draw 13/5 Bet365 0.5pt - Hanson 1st goal 8-1 Bet365 0.5pt - Davies 1st goal 33-1 Paddypower 0.5pt - Davies last goal 33-1 Paddypower 0.5pt - Game to end 2-2 14-1 Bet365 0.5pt - Game to end 1-1 11-2 Bet365

Re: Midweek > League 2 > March 27th Davies had 2 chances late on after predictably being sent up front at the end of the match as suggested. 5 sent off at full time, 3 of our players. Looks like 3 match bans for 2 of our players (GK and CB) and a 5 match ban for Davies (CB) as he has already had 2 reds this season. Brawl shown on sky sports news. Crawley were dirty and lucky to finish the match with 11 men but then 2 of theirs were sent off as part of the brawl after the final whistle.
