In hindsight this was a bad bet. I looked at this match earlier in the day and wasn't happy to lay Wigan HT/FT because of their recent results against Liverpool, Man U etc. I looked at over 0.5 goals as Arsenal score at home most times - so this was my bet. Couldn't get online in time but thought I'd be able to get it placed in-running if Arsenal hadn't already scored. When I logged in and saw 0-2 scoreline I was shocked but thought Arsenal would still score at home, I was placing a bet on over 2.5 goals when Arsenal scored. Now to my mistake... I said Arsenal usually score at home which they had done already but because I was at the confirm bet screen when Arsenal scored I went looking for another bet which is were I lacked disicipline. I should have walked away as Arsenal had scored a goal. I was chasing a bet. Anyway we are in profit which is something but disappointed as I was near the £500 banking point were I planned to bank it all and start again. Also after the Milan match was cancelled I considered just banking at that point. We have £150 in the bank and will start again and I wrote my thinking on last nights events to remind myself of this scernario should it occur again.
