Now i now some punters don't like accumulators but i hope the strike rate will enable us to show a profit :hope This has not been backtested so we're diving in at the deep end . Using soccerstats.com i'm selecting teams who have home scoring averages above 2.99 who are playing opponents who have away scoring averages of over 2.99. Scoring averages are based on goals scored / conceded at home /away. So , simply put , we are selecting match's where there 'should' be a greater chance of over 1.5 goals being scored [ah theory's , great on paper ain't they :p] I will be keeping it to 4/5 timers so here's todays picks - the numbers after each team are their scoring average. Re: Over 1.5 Acca's Will be looking at as many as i can that the main bookies supply odds for , although i was a bit selective about the lower leagues today. Also i'm wary of looking at high scoring leagues , such as the Eredivisie , as the odds are usually under 1.2 . TELSTAR are a concern scoring only 3 in the last 4 but GO AHEAD could well negate that worry as 13 goals in 4 is a quite impressive stat !! 10pts on all 6 returns 23.70pts [bet365] For those who want to stick to a double-your-money bet consider WOLVES/CARLISLE/FRANKFURT/MALAGA which returns 22.70 for a 10pt stake. Based on League stats / recent goals and odds , these are pretty strong looking imo. If you want a more 'adventurous' return then the above 4 plus GALATASARAY/MAN UTD/D DRESDEN will give you back 38.18pts to your initial 10pts . Good luck [we'll need it ]

I've been considering how to try and eliminate these and hopefully next week should see the posting of selections using a new set of criteria , these will be - 1 - How strong the League involved is with regards to Over 1.5 goals , e.g they must have a % of Overs of 75%+ , which at the moment will be BELGIUM , EPL , ENG 1 , ENG 2 , BUNDESLIGA 1 , BUNDESLIGA 2 , EREDIVISE , DUTCH 2nd and DENMARK SAS. * The FRENCH LIGUE 1 may be included after todays results are known. 2 - The selections will then be sorted by how many games in the past 4 league games they have scored [ as opposed to how many they have scored in those 4] with those not scoring in 0,1 or 2 from the 4 being removed . 3 - The average goals scored either at home or away [whichever applies ] MUST BE OVER 1.0 I'm hopeful these criteria will give us 4-6 selections each week to have a wager on . I will , however , continue to highlight EVERY game where both teams have scoring average's over 3.00 so as to keep an open mind but the above criteria will run until the end of the season

I again must apologise for the late posting of the selections as i'm sure with a bit more use of the Friday games i think we'd be showing maybe a slight profit instead of a 10 pt loss to start us off. On the plus side , unless we consider total luck as a factor , i did manage to find 2 of the 3 that lost . Until the end of the season each bet will be placed to return just over double the stake . So thats the bank on 90pts . One other thing to note is that i won't be posting mid-week . This weekend's selction will be posted by Thursday evening at the latest .
