Re: Netherlands, Eredivisie - 10/12 Feb Twente v Heracles Big local derby in which both rivals will be a maximum motivated. However, home side have a few advantages here: home pitch and fans (Heracles is much better on their artificial pitch), Twente is better team (although Janko left, ex Heracles top scorer, Plet is arrived), home team didn't play a single match, while visitors are two, in the last ten days. Despite all these advantages, @1.25 is no value. Especially since Heracles is complete and Twente have a few absences. For now nothing, until I see odds movement. It would be desirable to hear someone else who follows Eredivisie (especially who is from Netherlands)... cheers ;)

Re: Netherlands, Eredivisie - 10/12 Feb VVV Venlo Total Goals Over 1.5 @ 3,00 (7/10) local 365 offers the same bet at 2,62 what's best price atm on-line and still holds great value Venlo stenghtened their team during the winterbreak in an effort to avoid relegation this season. As a result they've won their two most recent home games (2:1 v Feyenoord & 2:0 v Roda). They are still strugling away from home but at their own turf they are capable of beating anyone. They tend to rise their game when playing big names as was seen earlier this season (2:2 v Ajax & 3:3 v PSV). Groningen in big crisis atm, lost two in a row and were totally outplayed by 'weak' Waalwijk (0:3) last week and shouldn't be such a favs for this one imo! The reason for being such a strong favourites must be Venlo's rock bottom position of the table and the 6-1-0 H2H record in their favour. Three of those seven H2H's were played at Venlo and ended 2:5, 2:2 and 3:5. Man would think there should be goals in this one or Groningen will outscore Venlo once again, but after seeing Groningen last week I doubt they will score here and can't imagine them winning this. I may be wrong however and decided to go with what I think is the most valuable option to bet on this match. :hope

Re: Netherlands, Eredivisie - 10/12 Feb Roda JC v NEC With a home record of 7.0.3, it comes a bit of a surprise that Roda find themselves back in ninth place. They’ve won five of their last eight league games, including all three at home where they scored 12 and conceded only 1. One of those victories was an impressive 2-0 win over title contenders AZ. Their opponents on Saturday, NEC, are a few places behind them in twelfth place, and struggle on the road as highlighted by their away record of 2.2.5. In fact they’ve only scored 7 goals in those nine away games all season. Roda had a 2-1 away win when the sides last met in November. Odds for a home win look grossly overpriced to me here. Verdict: Home win - Best Odds 2.01 at 188bet

Re: Netherlands, Eredivisie - 10/12 Feb AZ Alkmaar v Excelsior Esteban; Poulsen, Viergever, Moisander, Marcellis; Martens, Maher, Elm; Holman, Benschop and Beerens. de Ruiter; Scheimann, Schenkeveld, van Steensel, de Graaf; Alberg, Jansen, Broerse; Vincken, Janga and Maatsen. Second-best home team against second-worst away team. Difference in quality is huge, but bookies have destroyed this game with underrated odds, so that only value is... AZ win to nil @1.80 bet365 3/10 ------------------------------- Roda JC v NEC Nijmegen Kieszek; Hempte, Wielaert, Vukovic, Monteyne; de Beule, Vormer, Donald, Ramzi; Junker and Malki. Babos; Conboy, van Eijden, Nuytinck, Szelesi; Koolwijk, van der Velden, Vadócz, George, Schöne; Zeefuik. Meeting between two quite equal teams. However, tradition and home ground are advantages for Roda. Both teams have very solid strikers, but I'm not sure that we will see a goal fest here. This will be a tactical battle, but fantastic Malki can be deciding factor on the side of home team. Roda JC @2.00 at local 3/10

Re: Netherlands, Eredivisie - 10/12 Feb RKC Waalwijk - SC Heerenveen SC Heerenveen is the club who is in form. After the winterbreak they won all they matches. Two at home for the competition, one away for the competition and one away for the cup. SC Heerenveen misses one of her best players with Assaidi, but they have enough other players who can play on his position. Central defender Zomer has banned for this match. RKC Waalwijk won last week in Groningen. But they are not good. FC Groningen was dramatic in this game. But RKC Waalwijk are good at home against middle or bottom teams, not against teams in form. They are missing two people in the team. But Midfielder Sno is back from a suspended match. After the winterbreak RKC had a big loss against FC Twente at home, a big win against a bottom team and loss against Heracles Almelo for the cup before the win against FC Groningen. I see great value on the SC Heerenveen side. They have enough quality on the midfield and attacking line to win this match. 4/10 SC Heerenveen -0.5 @ 2.21 12Bet

Re: Netherlands, Eredivisie - 10/12 Feb Roda JC - NEC Nijmegen A match between two teams they are in form. I like to play the home team here. They have very good stats between NEC at home. 13 wins, 2 draws and 3 losses. Roda JC came good out the winterbreak. They scored a lot off goals, but the defense is not steady enough in every game. With Malki and Junker they have two good attackers they can make a goal by a little chance. I think this will make the difference in this match. NEC had a lost last week against Feyenoord at home. They playing not good and don’t have attackers that will make a goal by a little chance. After the winter break they won the first two matches with 1-0 and 2-0. Then they lost a cup match by PSV away with 3-2. NEC had a lot of chances to win this match, but they have not good attackers. Both teams don’t have important absents this match. 3/10 Roda JC ML @ 1.95 Unibet

The first game on Friday's big local derby like the one in Amsterdam last weekend (Utrecht @10 won).
Heracles was @9 :lol

Re: Netherlands, Eredivisie - 10/12 Feb VVV Venlo V Groningen Both teams were convincingly defeated in the last two rounds, so they will be extra motivated to win here. Groningen has won 5 of last 6 games against VVV (there were 19 goals in last three h2h games at De Koel). And I was convinced that we will again see a lot of goals here, but rivals will be without some regular offensive players, so I keep away... If anyone really wants this game, I suggest goals. ------------------------- NAC Breda v Ajax ten Rouwelaar; Koenders, Buijs, Botteghin, Janse; Bonevacia, Gorter, Luijckx; Bayram, Schalk and Kolk. Vermeer; Anita, Vertonghen, Alderweireld, Koppers; Enoh, de Jong, Eriksen; Özbiliz, Bulykin and Ebecilio. Another battle between teams that are in very bad form. Home team will have great support from the stands (all tickets are sold out), but Ajax have several important returns in the first team (defensive duo of Belgians - Vertonghen and Alderweireld). However, both teams will be weakened without several important players. But I think that Ajax is far better team, even though they play away now, I'll give them a good chance. Re: Netherlands, Eredivisie - 10/12 Feb ^^^ Oh well, I think it's 50-50 case so everything above evens is more than fair! Note that Venlo opened the score after just 15 mins when playing away at Groningen two months ago, they were cut man down after half an hour gone and still created some nice chances to score a few more. Lost 2-1 at the end!

Re: Netherlands, Eredivisie - 10/12 Feb What do you guys thing about the Utrecht - Den Haag match? I kinda fancy the away win. Utrecht just won against rivals Ajax and that might be to Den Haags advantage. They have nothing to lose. and the presure are on the hometeam to dominate the match. Do anybody have any teamnews? Den Haag won the two latest matches in Utrecht. Den Haag are around 4,75 @ BetVictor

Re: Netherlands, Eredivisie - 10/12 Feb Nothing but winners in this thread so far :clap Well done all, esp McN for his 4/4 Not sure if I'll be taking something tomorrow but looking at Heerenveen match and I think that we'll see goals at both ends there. Waalwijk hit some form of late winning their last two to nil scoring 7 in the process and they will surely be up for this. Heerenveen were somehow lucky to win 4-3 in a thriller against Roda last week when their defence looked a real mess. Its a winnable game for Heerenveen and 2,20 looks juicy indeed but I would stay away from the outright market here, although I can certainly see them scoring some. Price on btts a bit skinny to me and not worth the risk. I will be looking at teams totals and weather conditions in Waalwijk and decide if I'll have a punt. Local odds on individual totals 1,5 for both teams a bit more generous than the ones offered online. May get both teams to score two! Feyenoord should't miss the chance of kicking Ajax out of the top four again. They are rightly favs against Vittese and should easily win this. Not sure of the odds though. Would stay away from the remaining two games. Utrecht looks heavily overrated and theres value on Den Haag but I wont back a team that lost 0-6 at home last week. GL guys and fingers crossed weekend continues in same style!

:clap I saw some of this game (finished 0-2) and thought Ajax were by far the better team. Although they didn't score until late in the game, I didn't think they looked like conceding, such was their superiority.

:ok Result: 0-1 I saw quite a bit of this one, and I thought Heerenveen deserved to win. They were slightly the better side even before RKC had a man sent off. The Heerenveen strikers always looked a bit more skilful than RKC's, but Heerenveen could have paid for not scoring more goals as RKC had most of the play in the second half.

Good weekend so far in Netherland. Looking forward to next week. I see a lot of dropping odds and not a lot off plays with value. But, we are still waiting, you never know.
