It is wednesday, right? Anyway, tonight i fancy chicago at boston (7/4). Im mad with handicap betting at the moment after taza's pick (which i backed) got sunk through a last second lob. Chicago in great form, without antonio davis, like last game, but he aint that good anyway. Beat them a week and a half ago in chicago, expect them to do it again. If im reading the figures on espn preview correctly, boston are rubbish when favourites and chicago are pretty good when underdogs, not sure whether thats right or not. What does anyone else think

[Line into 4 @ most sharp books...still 4.5 available tho] NY are still slipping under most people's radar...Like them as a team, and think they will beat a poor Toronto outright. (Great odds...2.70ish!) Atlanta +13.5 League: 24-15 (Av. loss 10.6) away 10+ dog, 1 day off 10- ats loss as home -3,+3 [Atl] 16-7 (Av. loss 10.9) if total 190+ 10-3 (Av. loss 7.1) if opp off a SU loss. (9-0 since '98) Miami won 116-102 in December, but Atlanta now have a much better balanced team with Lue and Smith both playing well. (and they were a point up at HT) Wade a probable starter tonight, but the first game back is usually tough. LA v. Minni under 189.5 Rare total play for me. Minni scoring way down with Cassell out. (Av. 90.4 ppg last 5, compared to 98.3 overall) Obviously Kobe out. Last meeting in Min, LA won 105-96 but LA shot 16-35 3 pointers!...With Kobe hitting 6-11...LA hit 38 in the last 1.4. Last 5 meetings in LA have been under this no...Av. 179.2 ppg.
