Re: Last Years Winners Heart of PL Awards These are personal awards from me for the people I see who just love PL, and it's very clear to see. Poker Mod - Heniek Maybe a surprise choice here, but being a moderator isn't just about what you do on the forum, it's about what you do off the forum as well. Heniek is always encouraging people to join PL, and we are a strong poker forum because of that. He's also a good laugh and down to earth, and a very good player in his own right. He loves PL, always has and always will and he's very deserving of this award. :clap Poker Member Dave488 Here's a guy who will tell you how it is, isn't afraid to speak his mind. A very good poker player also and again, it's not always what you do on the forum. Everyone has different amounts of time to spend on PL etc.. Dave gets involved a lot and nearly always turns up at PL events, constantly supporting us. He's a great guy and has no ego whatsoever, certainly has a bit of class about him. Keeps improving and well done Dave - the new slim Dave, also won the biggest loser (weight) award in General Chat. :ok :clap Sports Betting Mod - Meatman Wow, this is tough. There's a whole list of people I could put down as a winner, even past winners I could easily say very deserving again. I don't want to start mentioning mods that I think are close again for fear of not mentioning someone else who was also close. All of these guys are awesome, full stop. Meatman takes the award. Not only has he got married this year, which changes your life without doubt, but he has remained as loyal as ever to PL with his constant organising and French Ligue posts. He goes back a long way, the youngest ever moderator in PL's history and he's a top notch guy to go with it. He'll tell you how it is too in no uncertain terms, but he does it the right way. Another great asset to PL. :clap Sports Betting Member - Monterosso This is usually a nightmare award too. However one person does really standout this year and that is Monterosso. Technically he's not valid for this as he recently became a moderator, but that is very very recent, so it's valid in my eyes. ;) Comes to PL with a great attitude, no ego and only 20 years old. I remember when I was 20, and knew everything, when actually I knew very little of what I know now. His posts are incredible quality and maturity. After chatting with him recently, he also seems very level headed and another guy with no ego, just plodding along on PL because he loves it. Contributed enormously and his showing overall in the PL Oscars shows that. Well done Monterosso. :clap
