Even Stevens - 1.00 Sth (e/w 12-1 LAD BOG) Last winter he won four out of five sprints at Southwell, and today he returns there for the first time since his last win in March. Has been raised 10lb since that 9(!)-length win, and hasn't been successful on turf or polytrack since then. However, at 12-1 he seems worth a punt on this return to his best course (and distance).

Re: BBOTD - Tues 6th December I'll take a wee step back from the chasers etc and try my hand over at the AW. Sole runner for trainer Mrs Carr and she's not been doing that bad in the last few weeks with what looks like hand picked races. Her 8yr old gelding never got the best of runs last time out at Wolverhampton and got beat a short head. He was a nice winner two starts ago also at Wolverhampton again over the min trip, jockey J.P Sullivan gets on well with him and gets the leg up again today. He runs today off a nice weight and i cant see him being far away HOWEVER the paper jolly Lenny Bee does look a major DANGER. Southwell 1:30 - RED CAPE. 1pt win bet - 7/1 Bet365 'BOG' Best of luck.
