I wonder can anyone advise me what the best statistical analysis software for football results is. I am looking for a program where I can import excel files and then run queries as approperiate. Thanks!

Re: Best Statistical Analysis software to use There is, to be honest, no piece of software that will offer you any kind of worthwhile short cut. Find and read all of the PHD/Research work you can, get to grips with a nice programming language like Python or Java, and do a lot of reading on statistical models. There is no short cut to knowledge and understanding.
