Re: English Short-Handed Champ (Luton) 18th-20th Nov - Qualifiers on BlueSquare/ipoke Safely through to the online final (£30 seat) after a couple of stabs at the freerolls. Total cost 10p addon in todays freeroll and £1 addon in the daily final = £1.10 :cigar Tip: Very few people are taking the rebuys or addons and with the addon giving a massive 10k chips, solid play until the break and then taking the addon gives you a great chance at qualifying through both the freeroll and daily final. Hope to see some PL'ers in the online final on the 15th Nov. EngSH.jpg

Re: English Short-Handed Champ (Luton) 18th-20th Nov - Qualifiers on BlueSquare/ipoke Well played Bart, think you were chip leader near enough from start to finish:clap. I managed to dodge those bullets of yours and scrape into the final with you. Think i need to get some more antibiotics for the final as i seem to be getting better results playing from my sick bed. Goodluck in the final mate:hope

Re: English Short-Handed Champ (Luton) 18th-20th Nov - Qualifiers on BlueSquare/ipoke Aww no wonder 3-handed was tough, didn't realise it was a fellow PL'er but makes sense now. Yh I managed to treble up pretty early on so then went on the offensive bullying everyone in sight, whilst out of character I loved being the big stack for a change. Even without knowing your identity, I'd quickly seen that you were the strongest and playing the best of all 3 of us (even without a stack) and so I was trying to avoid you and target the other guy and/or wait for decent hands as a big stack can afford to do. I have to say hats off to you for playing a near faultless game, all too often short stacks (myself included) will up their blind steals to try to get back into contention, but all of your moves were very measured and controlled, big respect to you and hope to avoid you in the final :notworthy Good luck buddy & get well soon :hope

Re: English Short-Handed Champ (Luton) 18th-20th Nov - Qualifiers on BlueSquare/ipoke Thx daz and for the offer, much appreciated. Was just about to write that I'm going to have to do this the hard way as was down to 800, but just doubled up after flopping the nuts with a BB special, so might be back in with half a chance :cigar Good luck buddy :hope

Re: English Short-Handed Champ (Luton) 18th-20th Nov - Qualifiers on BlueSquare/ipoke Out of online final in 26th. Tough to find any spots, usual thing, several players happy calling anything & everything and always catching. Eventually made a good read with my 2nd pair and tried to pot control only to be runner-runnered for a straight. :sad Gl Daz/Ripple, keep it going lads, railing from the side.

Unlucky mate. Out as well, was short, shoved on the button with a8 and only the sb to act as bb was sat out, sb calls with a9 and no help on the board. Oh well next time bud. GL ripple:hope

Re: English Short-Handed Champ (Luton) 18th-20th Nov - Qualifiers on BlueSquare/ipoke Definately not meant to be tonight, just looked at my hand history and i was dealt 2 pairs 10s and 7s[the 2 hands that got me off to a decent start} and a few rag aces, the rest was utter junk. Did we really want to spend the weekend in Luton:unsure
