After earning enough points to download the data from betfair, I was disappointed to see so little information about each race. It has good information about the betting patterns, but not enough about the horses, jockeys, trainers, the going etc. Can anyone point me to a database that includes those other things?

Re: More data required Not sure of the quality of the betfair data to be honest, so hard to advise. There is lots of information on the racing post website if that's what your looking for ? .... Or are you looking for a proper database ?
