Mabbs Posted January 8, 2005 Share Posted January 8, 2005 The Sandown card includes some top class races, the one of interest for me being the Grade 1 Tolworth Hurdle. The tissue favourite Marcel has been very impressive since joining the Martin Pipe stable, winning eight races from nine starts. His only defeat came at the hands of Astronomic at Haydock, who re opposes today. Although that wasn't a truly run race and Astronomic was receiving 4lbs, there still seems to be too much of a difference in the prices of the two.
